Telegram Raises 1B From Russian Fund Mubadala Abu Dhabi Partners
The $1 billion is from the sale of five-year convertible bonds with a 7 percent annual coupon to international investors including Russia’s state-run Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) which bought bonds worth around $2 million through its partnership with the Mubadala Investment Company which invested a total of $75 million.
