According to Digital Chat, Oppo will rely on a round ring camera in the middle of the back of the potential Find X6 Pro next year. Oppo has chosen a very eccentric camera hump design with the Find X3 Pro and Find X5 Pro, but in 2023 they will give it up. It is unclear if this rendering depicts the final camera design because it is not yet exceptionally detailed. For instance, the LED flash is absent but was later added to the graphic near the top, to the right of the periscope zoom camera, and bearing the MariSilicon writing. Better photos and videos will likely be produced in 2023 thanks to ISP in-house development by Oppo engineers, and a “camera tuning” by Hasselblad experts is also anticipated. The leaker also claims that Oppo’s upcoming camera flagship will also use the relatively large “1-inch sensor” Sony IMX989, which made its debut in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. In addition to the sony sensor, the Find X6 Pro will also be backed by a new 50-megapixel Sony IMX890, which, according to a recent statement from Digital Chat Station, won’t be quite as big as the 1/1.56 inch IMX766 used in the Oppo Find X5 Pro and many other current smartphones.
