The iPhone 8 and other Apple gadgets (the iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus and a new Apple Watch) will be unveiled at a so-called Steve Jobs theater with an accommodating capacity of 1,000 seats. Before now, the only info we had about the Steve Jobs theater was the theater name and its carrying capacity. Apparently, Apple plans no just to unveil new devices that day (September 12), the Big A wants to kill numerous birds with one stone. The company plans to unveil the theater that same day. So basically, no one knows (knew) how the theater looks or what it’s like at the moment. However, Macmagazine (@macmagazine on Instagram) have been able to obtain some images of the Steve Jobs theater, but while it was under construction. And even though none of the images revealed what the theater was like on completion, or what it would look like on the second Tuesday of September when the iPhone 8 goes live, it however gave some pretty good inkling as to what is expected. Little beam of light, no matter how small is better than being in the dark if you ask me.
The images above seem to be in conformity with details in the content of this tweet that revealed that the Steve Jobs auditorium is pretty much underground. See more images below
The theater was built to honor Steve Jobs and was subsequent named after him. The theatre is known to be 165 meters in diameter and 20 foot tall completely surrounded with glass walls. The upcoming iPhone 8 is expected to have dual rear cameras, facial unlock, wireless charging, an OLED display and a $1,000 price tag.
