Following the introduction of its next-generation models, Apple ceased production of earlier iPhones, including the 11, 12, Mini, 13, and 13 Pro. As it does every year, the tech giant has reportedly replaced the existing Pro models in Apple’s iPhone portfolio with the introduction of new Pro models. According to the report, Apple has officially stopped selling the aforementioned older iPhone models, but they are still available at retailers worldwide while supplies last. Some significant improvements came with the iPhone 13 Pro series. It added capabilities such as a 120Hz LTPO display, an enhanced triple camera system, significantly longer battery life, and more. Additionally, the company stopped producing the iPhone 11 in 2019. It was the first base model iPhone to support a dual camera system, 4GB RAM, 18W wired charging, and other features. The 2020 iPhone 12 Mini, which was the first Mini iPhone and the least expensive iPhone with an OLED display at introduction, has also been dropped by the tech giant. In the meantime, on Wednesday at its “Far Out Event,” Apple announced the iPhone 14 series along with the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, Apple Watch Series 8, and Apple Watch Ultra.
