This online platform was developed and designed by University of Nairobi ICT staff Mr. Joram Kinuthia Nduati and Mrs. Josephine Wambui Ndung’u. Elimu Advisor is your one stop shop for your higher education information in Kenya. It is a simple, fast and easy way of searching for a course of your choice and it also gives information and advisory services to candidates seeking to pursue post secondary education. It seeks to advice potential students about admission information, prospective programmes in institutions of higher learning in Kenya. The Elimu Advisor platform gives its clients a huge and comprehensive database of over 250 tertiary institutions and 4,000 programmes offered in Kenya. How the Elimu Advisor platform works: To access the Elimu advisor services, interested individuals are required to log in to the website. The website is interactive and has social media plug-ins and online support to guide the end users as they search for course information. Users only need to follow 5 easy steps: To access the vast database and search tools, log in by using your social media accounts or by creating an Elimu Advisor account. Select from the various methods of searching your area of interest e.g. Degrees, Masters, Certificates and Diploma, or Key-word Search. Enter the search criteria as guided by the respective wizard. The criteria are optional and help you narrow down your search. Criteria examples: programme level, institution type, county, etc View the results of your search in intuitive, graphical, and interactive charts.
