The first thing you should do is open Instagram or Snapchat.Go to the section where you’ll be recording your story.Bring it down to Control Center now.On the top left corner of the screen, select Video Effects.To enable the option, tap on Portrait.
This is all you need to do to use iOS 15’s Portrait Mode on Instagram, Instagram, and other social media apps for videos and photos. According to our testing, the feature is only available on iPhone models with Face ID. This is due to the TrueDepth sensors recognizing the person and blurring the background accordingly. Furthermore, the method for applying a blur effect to the background is nearly identical across all apps, so give it a shot. Before iOS 15, users did not have the option to blur backgrounds through the system. Nonetheless, it is a pretty nifty feature to have and works like a charm.
