Onboard says the $175,000 was from Kepple Africa Ventures and other renowned entrepreneurs such as Ahmed Hentati and Karim Jouini. According to Safwen Bouali, CEO at Onboard, “I am glad to announce that we have raised 175k USD in our latest round of financing, backed by Kepple Africa Ventures, Ahmed Hentati and Karim Jouini among other business angels. I am glad to welcome these brilliant minds on our journey as we strive to take manuals to the next dimension, effectively reimagining how support is done for hardware companies, Globally.” Bringing the total amount raised to 240k USD after the firm raised $65k earlier this year from Flat6Labs Tunis. The investment will be used to support Onboard’s solution development as well as its expansion into the French and the European markets. Founded in 2017 by Safwen Bouali, Cherif Redissi, and Amine Troudi, the SaaS platform enables hardware makers to create best-in-class support experiences for their customers. The solution aims to replace old-school confusing paper manuals, archaic support systems, call-centers, and manual creation software/services. Onboard launched in private Beta in June and is releasing its SaaS platform to the public this week to enable hardware makers create manuals in 3D in minutes and share them instantly.
