Details about the phone and its specifications are still scarce, OPPO doesn’t want to ruin the surprise, but they told TechMoran that the A71 will be 5.2 inches in size which is smaller than the popular OPPO F3 that we reviewed a while back. Also, the new device was promised to be 4G enabled and will be made of “a premium look with curves on the edges, metal texture and an elegant curvature for good hand feeling and still be lighter and slimmer.” The headlining feature is the ability for the A71’s camera to shoot a whooping 50MP Ultra HD pictures, something that you will rarely find elsewhere. The CPU has also been said to be improved; perhaps comparing it to the Snapdragon 435 that was present on the predecessor, the A57. The OPPO F3 was gorilla glass protected to make sure the device stays intact in case of a fall when taking selfies, the company is taking that idea further by giving the upcoming A71 a “crush proof hardware structure that makes it the most durable smartphone ever.” We are waiting eagerly for the launch and perhaps a chance to review the OPPO A71. As a side note, the A series is usually cheaper than the F series, so if you always wanted to get yourself an OPPO smartphone and enjoy the often praised cameras, the A71 is your best chance.
