The company said the move will enable transcripts across all podcasts on Spotify The feature will be key for people who want to scan and move around a podcast for instance to hear a particular segment or even listen to a show. The Spotify app is among the first major podcast apps to make an automated feature. Among other changes the app is working on, include visual changes which will affect color of the buttons, text formatting and size. According to the company, the changes will make it easier for people with visual disabilities to navigate and use the app as well as help with low lighting situations or high screen reflections. The changes will take effect starting today and will make the app more accessible on both IOS and Android devices. IOS users can also make the text much bigger via their settings by navigating to settings then accessibility and then tap Display, text size and then tap on larger text to select the size they want.
