Windows 11 will be gradually rolled out to the rest of the world. According to Microsoft, existing Windows 10 devices that are eligible for the Windows 11 upgrade will begin to be able to upgrade today, but the majority of new hardware will receive the upgrade immediately. According to Microsoft, “We anticipate that all eligible individuals will participate.” You can check to see if the Windows 11 upgrade is available in the Windows Update section of the Windows 10 settings area, or you may be able to bypass the queue and upgrade right away using Microsoft’s new Installation Assistant. Windows 11 introduces a new user interface, a redesigned Start menu, an overhauled Microsoft Store, Widgets, Microsoft Teams integration, and many other new features. Our full review can be found here. New Surface devices with Windows 11 preinstalled will begin shipping on October 5th, along with new PCs and laptops from Asus, Lenovo, and HP. Other PC manufacturers, such as Acer, Dell, and Samsung, will also release new Windows 11 devices soon.
