Daily News Tanzania reports that the move comes at a time when the state is seeking to implement the Integrated Land Management System (ILMS) that is expected to stop the myriad of land conflicts in the country. Mr William Lukuvi the Minister for Lands, Housing and Human Settlement Development said that although the manual operations in the sub sector will be phased out the files will still be kept. “We are determined to end endless land conflicts in this country and we are now working on final modalities where the new land management system will soon be introduced and the job starts next month,” he said. In addition to the new land management system, the state will also install the Satellite Receiving System in Dodoma.
