According to a new rumor, HMD’s first Nokia entry level device will be launched in November 2017. This device, the Nokia 2, will be the cheapest in their entire portfolio, but don’t let the price fool you, the device has some top notch features; a 4000mAh battery and 4G LTE. There is no word on fast charging, but considering that the more expensive Nokia 3 and 5 lack that functionality, the chances of appearing on Nokia 2 are low. The rest of the specs are entry level as expected, they include a 4.7 inch HD display with on screen controls, a first for Nokia devices. It will be powered by Snapdragon 210, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The camera department will be catered for by an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing one. We cannot hope for the Carl Zeiss we found on the Nokia 8 here, that will probably be making a return on the Nokia 9, the company’s first bezel-less device set to launch before the year ends. With such a huge battery plus 4G LTE, Nokia could have a best seller on their hands if they price it well, preferably below $99. They would have a real shot at giving tight competition to Infinix and Tecno on the entry-level market.
